LAN connection

This type of connection is used for companies which need their entire Local Network connected to the Internet. For this purpose, Internet CZ offers the InterEUnet and DialEUnet services. Connection to the Internet is done through EUnet, which is the largest Pan-European commercial internet. These services allow the use of all Internet facilities. The currently most-popular client, Netscape Navigator offers a user-friendly environment for many platforms, including Windows 95, Windows 3.x, DOS, Macintosh and Unix. EUnet is a distributor of Netscape products and is also a strategic partner of Novell

DialEUnet
This service offers a fully interactive connection to the Internet through a dial-up line (both PPP and SLIP protocols can be used). DialEUnet is the cheaper of the two types of LAN connections Internet CZ provides. It primarily offers the same range of services as InterEUnet, but the connection and therefore your LAN's services are transient.

Charges
The prices for InterEUnet specified in a contract always depend on particular properties of the leased line. The price given below is for a 14.4 kbps line, one of the slowest and therefore cheapest connections. Prices for other line speeds will be specified in a concrete proposal. Internet CZ charges a flat rate for this type of service which is without regard to the amount of data transmitted.

DialEUnet is charged according to the modem connection time. The customer pays a non-refundable lump sum which is an advanced payment for services used during the following month and which covers a specific amount of connection time. Then, approximately half-way through the month, the customer is charged for the next month and any time spent over the limit for the previous month. The higher the limit the customer chooses to pay, the better the rates are for both the specified time limit and the time spent over this limit.

The services InterEUnet and DialEUnet can be limited for connection within the Czech Republic only. There are considerably reduced prices for this option (note: these are not actually connections to the Internet). This option is advantageous for connecting a network of companies which have branches around the Czech Republic. Charges for both the lump sums and the times spent over limit are reduced by 30% and 50%, respectively.

Consultation
Internet CZ offers consulting and support services for InterlEUnet and DialEUnet. These services include consultations by phone for routing, both access and distribution lists, MTA mail hub, and DNS configuration and maintenance (i.e. zone files, reverse zone files, named. boot). The price of these services consists of a lump sum of 2000 Kè and then 100 Kè for every quarter of an hour of consultation.
Further support services (ranging up to complete outsourcing) must be specified in the contract. For both of these services, we can offer complete or partial software and/or hardware packages. (Details see the SW and HW pricelists).

The prices do not include VAT and are valid after 1 November 1995
