Your message here I have visited the Czech Republic 5 times starting in 1989 and most recently in 1995for 30 days. I have bohemian roots on my father's side that I have researched and continue to do so. Most of my research has been in the State archives in Trebon and some in Prague. I have found relations ( Ecler) and continue to look for others ( Safra, Karda, & Braun). So , I like to keep up to date on happenings in Bohemia as I plan to continue yearly visits and perhaps make some investments. I also have contacts in the power business in CEZ who have visited here for technology exchanges. I would like to find e-mail pals in southern Bohemia and Praha.

Last spring term, 1995, I went to study in Prague for half a
year and to reconnect with my family whom we left when my
parents moved to the United States. I instantley fell in
love with the city and the wonderful people I met. The
culture and the traditions made me feel so warm and close
to the country and a longing for that same feeling here in the
US. Now back at home, I miss what I experienced in Prague and
all over the Czech and Slovak Republics and daily remind
myself of what I experienced. I found this program and think
it's amazing. Thanks for letting me experience it again.
