CHANGES IN SOME IMPORTANT MANAGERIAL POSITIONS


Some changes have been made in important leading and managerial positions at EuroTel Praha.

As of 1 March 1998, Jamie Macdonald (43), formerly EuroTel's Sales and Marketing Director, is the new Operational Division Director. The previous Operational Division Director, James W. Blaisdell (42), following his return to the United States, is now Marketing Vice-President for Iridium, which does business in the area of satellite telecommunications.

As of 1 March 1998, the new Executive Director of the EuroTel Praha Sales and Marketing Division is Steve Langkamp (36), formerly General Manager of Marketing at One 2 One, a part of US WEST International, in London.

Newly established within the framework of Eurotel is the position of Marketing Director. As of 1 March 1998, the position of Marketing Director is held by Aleš Damm (32) who has worked with EuroTel Praha since 1992 and served as Sales and Distribution Director from 1994-1998.

EuroTel Praha Ltd is a joint venture of SPT TELECOM, Inc. (51%) and Atlantic West B.V. (49%). Atlantic West B.V. is equally owned by Bell Atlantic (NYSE:BELL) and MediaOne International, which is also known as US WEST International, a part of MediaOne Group (NYSE:UMB).
